The parts of a drying strategy

Create necessary access. Some assemblies can dry in place; others may need selective access or material decisions based on condition and water type.

Manage the environment. Air movement and dehumidification work together. Placement should support the material and zone being addressed.

Check progress. Appearance alone is not a finish line. Conditions and moisture information help guide adjustments and repair planning.

Better question: not “How many fans?” but “What material are we trying to dry, where is the moisture, and how will progress be evaluated?”
